Center for Robust Decision Making on Climate and Energy Policy
The Center for Robust Decision Making on Climate and Energy Policy brings together experts in economics, physical sciences, energy technologies, law, computational mathematics, statistics, and computer science and we are currently working on a series of tightly connected research programs.
Ultimately this research aims to improve the computational models needed to evaluate climate and energy policies, and to make robust decisions based on outcomes. The Center conducts research in four main areas: 1. Improving the fidelity of models used to forecast the impact of policies on future economic and climatic conditions. 2. Quantifying sensitivities and uncertainties in the parameters, processes, and impacts in models. 3. Identifying robust decisions in the face of uncertainty. 4. Developing improved computational methods and numerical methods required to achieve these goals.
