John Bates Clark Medal
Since 1947, the American Economic Association has biannually awarded the John Bates Clark Medal to the economist under 40 who has made the most important contributions to economics. Among economists, the Clark Medal is generally regarded as being as important as the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences.
